December 2025 marks 70 years since the completion of the capital restoration of the Amurskyi (now Staryi) Bridge in Dnipro. The 1955 reconstruction was performed by the bridge engineers of the Specialised Bridge Construction Department of the Dnipro Basin — the predecessor of present-day Mostobud.

A unique historic work: the 1884 bridge, designed by the prominent engineer Belelubsky, was destroyed three times by wars and rebuilt three times. The 1955 reconstruction gave it its modern form — two-tier, with a lift span for the passage of large ships.

In 1956 the first trolleybus crossed the bridge, then a bus. The engineering legacy is an example of how Mostobud's predecessor brought back to life sites built as far back as the Russian Empire.
