Scope of works:

  • construction of a 256 m quay;

  • backland crane track on piled foundations;

  • foundation for a 35 m lighting mast;

  • dredging works to 13.5 m depth.

Structure: anchored bulkhead of 1420×14 mm steel tubular piles with a PU-32 steel sheet-pile front screen and a reinforced-concrete pile cap. The berth meets Category "0" loading and is equipped with fenders, mooring fittings and lighting.

Start: March 2001. Completion: September 2002.
