In 2021 the President of Ukraine summarised «Big Construction» results: in two years, more than 40% of the country's core road network had been renewed or built. Almost 14,000 km of highways had been refurbished overall.
This pace was a record for independent Ukraine. Iconic sites included the Hadzhibei Estuary bridge on the Kyiv–Odesa highway and regional structures in Odesa, Kirovohrad, and Vinnytsia oblasts.
For the bridge-construction industry, this meant a steady flow of orders and a return to full operations for leading companies, including Mostobud.
