In 2022 the Agency for Reconstruction of Infrastructure of Ukraine began work on dismantling the remains of destroyed bridges and setting up temporary traffic flows in liberated territories.
First efforts focused on Kyiv and Chernihiv oblasts — regions that suffered the most extensive bridge-infrastructure damage in the early months of the full-scale war.
Leading Ukrainian bridge-construction companies were engaged, including Mostobud. Work was carried out under emergency timeframes with priority on military logistics.
