On 9 January 2024 the Agency for Reconstruction of Infrastructure of Ukraine announced completion of repairs on two more bridges in Kyiv oblast, damaged during Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
The sites were put into operation under emergency-pace conditions — an example of how the Ukrainian bridge-construction industry continues to operate even during wartime.
This is part of a large-scale programme to restore bridge infrastructure in the hardest-hit regions: Kyiv, Chernihiv, Kharkiv, and Mykolaiv oblasts.
