In 2016 the Dnipro City Bridge in Dnipro marked 50 years since opening. The 1,478-metre structure was designed by the Dniprohiprotrans institute and built by Mostobud in 1966.

A defining feature is the rigid-frame suspended system of the main spans (62+2×90+62 m), using suspensions on 32.96 m reinforced-concrete beams. Carriageway width is 21 m with two 1.5 m footpaths.

Approach-viaduct piers are two-column on pile foundations; channel-span piers stand on prestressed prismatic-pile foundations up to 25 m deep.
