Odesa, off-ramp from the Stage-III viaduct at Odesa Sea Commercial Port
A reinforced-concrete viaduct 239.7 m long in the Androsov Lane area. 8 spans of 24 m with individual prestressed girders.
Designed by Kyivbudindustria CJSC scientific-industrial association.
Technical characteristics:
road category — II (industrial-zone roads);
design speed — 40 km/h;
viaduct scheme — 2×12+8×24 m;
total viaduct length — 239.7 m;
carriageway width — 7 m (2 lanes);
ramp width — 11.62 m;
maximum longitudinal gradient — 50 per mille;
design live load — A-15, NK-100.
The viaduct section comprises a monolithic reinforced-concrete connection to the existing Stage-III port viaduct and an eight-span girder section of precast reinforced-concrete 24 m beams of individual design with prestressed reinforcement. The curvature of the viaduct in plan is achieved by laying the beams along chords.
Intermediate piers are individually designed reinforced-concrete elements on deep foundations with 1.5 m bored piles up to 32 m long. The approach is in retaining walls of precast reinforced-concrete blocks.
Construction period: 1 year (2008–2009).
